Apple Allowed Developer to Put an Undercover Mac Pro Through Its Paces Before Its Unveiling


AppleInsider reports that Apple allowed developer The Foundry, publisher of industry-standard 3D painting package, 3D digital painting tool MARI to put the new Mac Pro through its paces, however, they kept the tubular machine under wraps in a giant steel cabinet. AppleInsider : The Foundry this week announced that MARI , its industry-standard 3D painting package 3D digital painting tool used in films “Avatar” and “The Avengers,” is coming to the Mac. The developer, along with Oscar-winning animation studio Pixar, showed off MARI for OS X at WWDC this week, just 8 weeks after it began porting the software to the Mac.

Apple Quietly Changes iOS 7 Icons on Its Website


Apple has made changes to some of the icons on its official iOS 7 website, most notably to the Weather, Passbook, and Reminders app icons. As one of the most visible aspects of the iOS revamp, the icons in iOS 7 have been subject to reactions ranging from admiration to ridicule. 9to5Mac : The icons, which can currently only be viewed on Apple’s site using a mobile device, most notably show a completely redesigned weather app icon, ditching the clouds and sun found in the current iOS 7 beta, in favor of the live temperature, something users have been waiting for for years

Microsoft Releases Office Mobile for iPhone – Office 365 Subscription Required


Microsoft has released Office Mobile for Office 365 for the iPhone. The app allows Office 365 subscription users to access Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents from their iPhone. No native version for the iPad has as yet been released
