TUAW readers know of my affinity for Belkin WeMo home automation tools , whether I’m using them to get Siri to turn on the Christmas tree or keep my cat cool in the summer. Today Belkin announced IFTTT multi-device control for WeMo switches. What does that mean?

AssistantEnhancer Adds More Features To Siri



Siri integrates with many third party services, but sometimes I feel like Apple could have added more. Unfortunately, if you want more built-in integration, you’re going to have to wait until Apple makes it available. Thankfully, there’s quite a few Cydia Tweaks available that will add more features to Siri.

Apple files patent application for ‘intelligent automated assistant’



Engadget caught wind of the fact that Apple has filed a patent for an “intelligent automated assistant,” which sounds like the nice lady (or man) in your iPhone (or, as of iOS 6, iPad 3) called Siri.
